Information We Collect

RentDue Stays is built with a privacy-first philosophy. We believe your booking and financial data should stay under your control. The app uses local-only storage: everything you enter about your places, bookings, guests, channels and earnings is kept exclusively on your device.

RentDue Stays does not run central servers that store your booking or financial data. As a result, if you delete the app or lose your device without a backup, we cannot recover that data for you.

How We Use Your Information

Because your booking data never reaches our servers, we never use it for marketing, profiling or research. The information you enter powers the app on your device only:

• Showing your bookings and calendar across Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and direct channels.
• Calculating your real profit — income minus expenses — by place and by channel.
• Reminding you about deposits, check-ins and stays still to close.

Optional Cloud Backup

RentDue Stays can create an optional backup to your own iCloud or Google Drive account, so you can restore your data or move it between your own devices. This backup lives in your personal cloud account — not on our servers — and is controlled entirely by you. You can turn it off or delete the backup at any time.

Third-Party Services

Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics)

RentDue Stays uses Firebase Analytics, provided by Google, to understand how the app is used so we can improve it. It records product events such as finishing onboarding, adding a place or a booking, marking a cleaning as done, opening a report, viewing the subscription screen, starting or completing a purchase, restoring a backup and seeing an ad. Events carry a little context — for example the booking channel (Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo or direct), the number of nights, the screen a purchase started from, or the amount and currency of a subscription purchase.

We also record a short profile of app-level properties: whether you have Pro, your app language, the currency you selected, and approximate ranges for how many places and bookings you keep (for example “1–2 places”) — never the records themselves.

This data is tied to a random app-instance identifier, not to your name or email: RentDue Stays has no accounts, so we never receive one. It never includes guest names or contact details, booking notes, addresses, photos, or the amounts you earn from your bookings.

Crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics)

If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics sends a diagnostic report — device model, operating system version and a technical stack trace — so we can find and fix the problem.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

To support the free version, the app may display advertisements provided by third-party ad networks (such as Google AdMob). These services may use your device's advertising ID to show relevant ads. Upgrading to Pro removes ads.

In regions such as the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, you may be asked to consent before any advertising identifier is used; you can decline or choose non-personalized ads, and you can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings at any time. Our advertising and analytics partners process this limited data under their own privacy policies.

Your Rights

Because your data stays on your device, you keep full control over it. You have the right to:

• Access & export: view all your data inside the app, and export PDF reports with Pro.
• Deletion: delete any record at any time, or clear everything by uninstalling the app.
• No selling or sharing: because we don't hold your data, we cannot sell or share it with anyone.

Children's Privacy

RentDue Stays is intended for adults managing their own rentals and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of RentDue Stays after an update means you accept the revised policy.
